How much does it cost?

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No, paws’n’paint do not request a deposit or prepayment on any of the standard commissions and hand-painted gifts featured on the price list. Some bespoke projects such as large scale murals can be costly, and in such cases we may ask you to contribute the preparation costs in advance, but this is an exception and will be fully outlined in the proposal. Printed Image Gifts can only be ordered once your project is completed. The cost of these will be added to you invoice and will be due before the goods are ordered.

How can I order?

You can place your order Pet Portraits, Animal Artwork and Gift Certificates online using the online order forms or over the phone.  Bespoke commissions can only be ordered by contacting us directly to discuss your requirements. This is a free consultation without obligation and a full quote will be provided. Enquiries for gifts can be made by emailing gifts@pawsnpaint.com Please contact us if you will not be ordering online.

Do you work from photos?

Yes, always, and you can email or post them. For convenience we recommend that you email your photos, and we prefer to receive several images to to get an idea of the animal's personality. Posted photos will be returned with the commission. We also have a leaflet with tips on how to take the best photo for a portrait, so if you would like to receive this, please email info@pawsnpaint.com

How long will it take?

All pencil and pastels will be ready within 7 to 10 days. All acrylic paintings will be ready within 14 days. Due to the drying nature of oil paint, oil paintings will be ready within 14 to 28 days depending on size and number of subjects. During busy periods such as Christmas, the lead time may take a little longer, but in all cases you will be provided with a completion date with your confirmation.

When do I have to pay?

Once your commission has been completed, you will be notified. If you are satisfied with your artwork payment is due.

How do I pay?

You can pay by cash (on delivery/collection), cheque, paypal or bank transfer. All the details will be printed on your invoice.

When will I receive my artwork & gift items.

Immediately after we receive cleared payment, your artwork will be available to you. Printed gift items are variable as it depends on the supplier as a guideline it should take approximately 14 days from order date.

How will I receive my order?

You may arrange to collect your order in person, or we can arrange free local delivery (within 10 miles) at a mutually convenient time. Delivery cannot be guaranteed at busy times. Alternatively, we will carefully package your order and send it to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcel Post, at cost only.

Will my artwork be framed?

 paws’n’paint have some wonderful framers in our list of suppliers, and should you wish us to take care of this for you, we will be glad to help. Just let us know what type of frame you are looking for, we'll get you the price, and if you agree we'll add it to the invoice. If you want to frame the work yourself we'll even offer you some friendly tips and advice on mounts and frames that will compliment your commission.

Yes, we have an information pack containing all the details from this website, including the forms, leaflets and latest offers. Just email info@pawsnpaint.com with you contact name and address and we'll add you to our mailing list!
